Day 15 stops
About 1 hourMeet your Ozes representative in Aswan, then transfer to the Nile cruiser for check-in. Settle into your cabin, get your sailing schedule, and take a first look at the river from the deck before lunch on board.
45 minutes to 1 hourVisit the Aswan High Dam with your guide for context on modern Nile management, Lake Nasser and the way the dam changed life along the river. The stop is straightforward but useful before the ancient temple visits begin.
About 1.5 to 2 hoursContinue to Philae Temple, reached by a short boat ride. Your guide explains the temple’s relocation, its island setting and the reliefs connected with Isis. Expect bright sun, open courtyards and excellent river views.
About 45 minutes to 1 hourIf timing and river conditions allow, add a gentle felucca ride around Aswan’s islands. It is a quiet contrast to the temple visits, with canvas sails, polished wooden benches and late-day light on the water.
OvernightReturn to the cruiser for dinner and your first night on board. The evening is usually relaxed, with time to unpack, walk the deck and check the next day’s sailing and sightseeing times.

About 1 to 1.5 hoursAfter sailing north, stop at Kom Ombo Temple, a riverside sanctuary shared by two deities: Sobek and Horus the Elder. The symmetrical layout, carved calendar and medical scenes are easier to read with a guide at your side.
Several hours, depending on navigation scheduleReturn to the cruiser and continue along the Nile toward Edfu. Between visits, enjoy lunch on board and watch farming villages, palms and small boats pass from the sun deck or lounge.
About 1.5 to 2 hoursVisit the Temple of Horus at Edfu, one of the most complete ancient temples in Egypt. Walk through the massive gateway into darker inner halls where reliefs describe temple rituals and the mythic conflict between Horus and Seth.
OvernightRejoin the cruiser for dinner and the second night on board. Depending on the sailing plan, the ship may continue toward Luxor during the evening or overnight.

About 2 hoursArrive in Luxor and visit Karnak Temple Complex, one of the largest and most layered sacred sites in Egypt. Your guide leads you through the main processional spaces, including the huge columned hall, obelisks and key temple courts.
About 1 to 1.5 hoursContinue to Luxor Temple on the east bank. The visit focuses on the open courts, royal statues, colonnades and the temple’s connection to ancient festival routes through Thebes.
About 30 minutes to 1 hourReturn to the cruiser for check-out if not completed earlier, then transfer to your Luxor hotel, airport or train station. Optional add-ons such as the west bank or hot air balloon should be planned in advance, as the short cruise schedule is tight.

Yes, this 3-day Nile cruise is enough for a compact Aswan to Luxor route. It covers the main east-bank temples in Luxor plus Philae, Kom Ombo and Edfu, but it does not allow much free time or the full west-bank sightseeing circuit unless added separately.
The tour starts in Aswan and ends in Luxor. Pickup is arranged in Aswan, and after disembarkation you are transferred to your Luxor hotel, airport or station depending on your onward plan.
A felucca ride in Aswan is optional, not automatically included in the core program. If river conditions and timing are suitable, Ozes can add it to your first day before or after the main sightseeing.
Abu Simbel is not included in this 3-day cruise package. It can usually be arranged as an optional add-on from Aswan if your arrival time and cruise embarkation schedule allow it.
You will have a private guide for the scheduled guided shore excursions. The cruise accommodation, restaurant and onboard facilities are shared with other cruise passengers unless a private charter is specifically arranged.
Full board on the cruiser is included, usually covering lunch, dinner and breakfast during the sailing schedule. Drinks, special orders and personal purchases are not included unless confirmed separately.
Comfortable shoes, sun protection and a light layer are the most useful items to pack. Temple visits involve walking on stone surfaces, exposed courtyards and occasional steps, so practical clothing matters more than formal wear.
The Luxor hot air balloon is not included in the package. It may be possible to add it early on the final morning, but only if the cruise schedule, weather and transfer timing work together.
